FAQ

Questions and answers.

These are the questions I get most. If yours isn't here, ask me in the form at the bottom of the page.

Do I have to switch booking apps?

No. The booking buttons on your site go to whatever you use now, whether that's Vagaro, Square, GlossGenius, Booksy, Fresha or something else. If you don't use one, people can call, text or message you instead.

Is the sample site really free?

Yes. I build it for your business and only you can see it. I don't ask for a card, and you don't owe me anything. If you like it, we'll talk. If you don't, that's fine.

I already have a website. Can you still help?

Usually. Send me your link and I'll review your current site and Google listing for free, tell you whether I'd keep it, fix it or replace it, and reply within 2 business days; anything outside the plans, including fixing a site someone else built, is quoted in writing before I start.

How soon will I show up higher on Google?

Usually somewhere between a few weeks and a few months after launch. It depends on where you are, how many others do what you do nearby, and your reviews. I check every quarter and show you what moved.

Can you guarantee the top spot on Google?

No. Be careful with anyone who does; Google itself warns against ranking guarantees. What I can promise is that your setup will be complete and correct, I'll keep it current, and I'll tell you honestly how it's going.

Do you need my passwords?

No. Google and most booking apps let you invite me with my own login and limited access. You stay the owner and can remove me anytime. I never need access to your payments or billing.

What does "in your name" mean?

Your domain, Google Business Profile and other listings are in your own accounts. I help manage them, but they belong to you, and they stay with you if you leave.

What happens if I stop?

After the 12-month plan, you can stop anytime with 30 days' notice. You keep your domain and listings, and I'll hand the website over to you or take it down, whichever you want. If you stop during the 12-month plan, you pay a prorated share of the setup difference for the months left: at most $250 for Found or $450 for Booked.

What does it cost?

Found is $149 to set up, then $49 a month. Booked is $249, then $109 a month. Those setup prices come with a 12-month plan. The pricing page has the details.

What do you need from me?

About 20 minutes to answer some questions about your business, two calls, and some photos in a shared folder. I fill in what I can from your listing and booking page first, so a lot of it is just checking my work.

I'm a massage therapist. Does my license need to be on the site?

It depends on your state. In Wisconsin, your site has to say you're a "licensed massage therapist" or "licensed bodywork therapist" (Wis. Stat. § 460.13). The license number itself isn't required, but I can add it if you like. If you're in another state, I look up its rules before your site goes live.

Do you use AI?

Yes, for first drafts and for catching mistakes. I read everything before it goes on your site, and I write and send every message you get from me myself.

Do you only work in the Fox Valley?

No. I'm in Appleton and started here, so if you're nearby we can meet in person. The work itself happens online, though, so I work with pros anywhere in the US. We just do the calls by phone or video.

Do you work with tattoo artists?

I'm taking on a few tattoo artists this year. Ask me and I'll tell you if there's room.

See your business with its own website

Tell me about your business and I'll build a private sample website for it, the same kind I build for clients. I'll send you a link in about two business days.

  • Built from your Google listing and booking page
  • Only you can open it
  • No credit card, and you don't owe me anything

Email or phone, whichever you'd rather. I'll only use it about your sample and my services. If you give a mobile number, you agree I may text you about them; message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Texts aren't a condition of buying anything. Terms · Privacy
