For massage therapists
Websites for massage therapists.
You're booked through MassageBook, Vagaro or Square, and your regulars know where to find you. The people who don't know you yet are typing "massage near me" into Google. I build you a site and a Google listing that answer that search, and the booking button still goes to the app you use now.
From $49/mo + $149 setup. Free sample first, no credit card.
What people nearby type in
Very few people search for a therapist by name. They search for the kind of massage they want, and Google matches those words against your services, your website and your listing.
- massage near me
- deep tissue massage
- prenatal massage
- couples massage
- sports massage
- hot stone massage
- massage gift card
If you offer it, it gets its own line on your site and in your Google profile, with your price and length.
What goes on your site
Your services, written the way clients search for them, and your prices by length (60 or 90 minutes, whatever you offer). Then your hours, where you work and what to expect at a first visit. The booking button opens your app, so intake forms and deposits keep working the way they do now.
- Each kind of massage you offer, with its price and length
- Who you are and how you work, in your own words
- A gift-card link for birthdays and the holidays (on Booked)
- Your license number, if your state wants it on your advertising
About that license line: what has to be shown, and what you can say about pain or medical conditions, depends on your state. I'll ask what your board requires, and I keep the wording to what your license covers.
Which level fits
Most solo therapists do fine on Found: a one-page site with up to 12 services, at $49 a month plus $149 setup. If you want separate pages for your services and your story, a contact form, a policies page for cancellations, and a printable review card for your room, that's Booked at $109 a month plus $249 setup.
Questions massage therapists ask
Who do you work with?
Licensed massage and bodywork therapists, and the spas and wellness studios they work in. Before I start, I look up your license on your state's public license search (in Wisconsin, the DSPS license lookup). Your site describes therapeutic massage the way your license covers it (in Wisconsin, chapter 460 of the statutes), and I don't build sites for anything outside that.
I work out of my home. Does my address have to be public?
No. Google lets you hide your address and show a service area instead, and your site can name the town or the part of town. Clients get the exact address when they book.
I rent a room in a chiropractor's office. Can I still have my own listing?
Often, yes. Google allows a profile for a practitioner who works inside another business, with some rules about names and phone numbers. I'll look at your situation and tell you what fits before we set anything up.
Will this replace MassageBook or Vagaro?
No. Your site sends people to the booking app you already use. Your intake forms, reminders and payments stay where they are.
Free, no commitment
See your business with its own website
Tell me about your business and I'll build a private sample website for it, the same kind I build for clients. I'll send you a link in about two business days.
- Built from your Google listing and booking page
- Only you can open it
- No credit card, and you don't owe me anything
